 According to the mythology, Apsara Ramvar originated from the churning of the sea when the gods and demons were churning the sea.  Later she became an apsara of heaven and lived there.

 To bring good luck in life, you must observe Rambha Tithi.  Rambha Tithi is celebrated every year on the third day of Shuklapaksh in the month of Jyastha.  Many people call this day Rambha Tij.  It is believed that fasting on this day enhances both beauty and good fortune.  It is believed that it is very good for women to celebrate this special day.  This year Rambha III will fall on Thursday i.e. 2nd June.
