Imran Khan has failed to reduce religious violence in Pakistan?
Imran Khan's government has failed to reduce religious violence in Pakistan. Due to which the conflict on this issue has increased in the country. This information was given by the Indian news agency ANI quoting various media.
The report says that killing in the name of insulting religion is nothing new in Pakistan. According to the New York Times, these incidents have increased in the last few years.
According to human rights activists, Prime Minister Imran Khan's promise to end religious violence has not materialized. They have even failed to take any practical steps.
Islamabad-based human rights activist Tahira Abdullah said political apathy was the biggest obstacle to stopping abuses of blasphemy laws. Imran Khan's government is no different from its predecessors in its promise to address the threat of religious violence. However, the behavior of influential religious groups in parliament is also cowardly.
According to the United States-based International Religious Freedom Commission, Pakistan has more religious conflicts in the name of blasphemy than any other country.
