দামোদর লীলা- মা যশোদা কর্তৃক কৃষ্ণকে বন্ধন

Damodar Leela - Krishna is bound by mother Yashoda

At a time when the maids were busy with various housework, mother Yashoda herself started churning Dadhimanthan and during that churning she was singing the strangely melodious Balyalila of Lord Krishna and thus was immersed in deep joy in remembrance of her son.

While churning, he tied the hem of his sari tightly around his waist. Her whole body was trembling as a result of her hard work and milk was dripping from her breasts due to her deep affection for her son.

And as soon as the bangles on his hands touched each other, there was a squeaking sound and his pair of earrings and anklets were trembling. Sweat appeared on his face and the flower garland on his head was scattered here and there.

At that time baby Krishna came there hungry. He then affectionately demanded of his mother that he should stop milking her and then breastfeed her so that she could continue milking.

Mother Yashoda took Krishna in her arms and breastfed him. When Krishna was suckling, seeing his beautiful face, mother Yashoda began to float in the ocean of joy.

At that moment, the milk that had been put in the fire suddenly started boiling and to get the milk out of the fire, mother Yashoda hurried to get Krishna down from her lap and get the milk out. Leaving him like this made his mother very angry.

His eyes and lips turned red with anger. He bit his lip with his teeth, picked up a piece of stone, and immediately broke the vessel.

Meanwhile, leaving the milk jug down, mother Yashoda returned to the milking parlor. He saw the container in which he was holding the baby in a broken state, and when he did not see his infant son, he realized that it was his own doing.

He smiled and thought, “The boy is very clever. He broke the pot and fled for fear of being punished. " After searching for a while, he saw Krishna sitting on an upside-down Udukhal, and Krishna was looking from side to side for fear of punishment for this misdeed.

He silently walked slowly towards her from behind. But Krishna saw him and immediately jumped up from Udukhal and ran away in fear.

Mother Yashoda also started running after him to catch him. Mother Yashoda chased after the Supreme Lord, whom the Yogis could not find in meditation.

On the other hand, the yogis and sages, despite their best efforts, did not find the Supreme Lord, who was playing with his devoted mother Yashoda as a child.

Mother Yashoda could not catch the baby at first because she could not run fast because of her thin body.

Yet he was trying to chase her as fast as he could. His hair was unkempt and the flowers of his hut fell to the ground.

Despite being tired, he finally grabbed his naughty baby. Krishna was caught in his mother's hand and started crying in fear.

With both his hands he began to wipe away the tears, and as a result the tears of his eyes spread all over his face. He was terrified to see his mother standing in front of him with a stick in his hand. Mother Yashoda then thought that the child was in vain.

As his son's well-wisher, he thought that it would not be right to frighten his child so much, but not to punish him a little. So he dropped the stick and decided to tie it with a rope.

He did not know that Krishna was his youngest child, he did not know that his child was infinite. He has no inner-outer meaning that He is omnipresent. He is eternal and omnipresent. He is the source of all worlds. Yet mother Yashoda considered him her son.

Although he was invisible to all the senses, he tried to tie the rope around him like a normal boy. But he saw that it was too small. Thus he saw that all the ropes were two inches shorter.

The gopis started laughing when mother Yashoda could not tie him even after gathering all the ropes of the house in this way. How is this possible?

When he went to tie his baby boy, he became tired and sweaty, and the garland tied around his hair fell off. Then the boy Krishna, seeing his mother exhausted, graciously became bound.

Krishna was indulging in his hobbies like an ordinary child in the house of mother Yashoda. No one can control the Supreme Lord. The pure devotee surrenders himself completely to the footsteps of God.

God will kill him, no, keep it, they surrender to God again to give pleasure to the devotee. Krishna's surrender to his mother Yashoda is a wonderful example of this.

Krishna gives all kinds of liberation to his devotees. But the grace he expressed towards mother Yashoda is rare even for Brahma, Maheshwara and even Lakshmi, the luxuriant bosom of God.

The Supreme Lord, who is known as Yashodanandan and Nandanandan, yogis and sages can never know Him fully. But he is affordable to his fans. Yogis and sages can never perceive Him as the ultimate source of all happiness.

Mother Yashoda kept her son tied up and busy with household chores. At that time, Lord Krishna saw two Arjuna trees in front of the house. Lord Krishna, the ultimate source of all happiness, then thought to himself, “At first my mother left me without feeding me milk, so I broke the pot of butter and fed it to the monkeys.

And now he's tied me up again. So now I will do more mischief than before. ” Thinking this, he decided to uproot those two huge Arjuna trees.

These two Arjuna trees have a history. They were preceded in death by two sons of Kuber named Nalkubar and Manigrib. Fortunately, they had the grace of God.

Maharshi Narad cursed them in his previous life. As a result, they had the good fortune to see the Supreme Lord Krishna. This blessed curse was given to them because of excessive drinking which caused them to lose their memory. That story will be told in the next chapter.
